Begins at 7th and Washington, heads toward the Downtown Square and turns west ending at various streets around the Depot.

Join us for a weekend of Yuletide fun, Christmas Carols, and gifts for the little ones. Activities for children and adults alike include traditional Christmas decorating, tea parties, and a 3-day mountain craft show. Don't be surprised if Saint Nick drops in.

The theme this year will be Christmas Candyland. Santa Claus will be there from 10:00am-12:00pm and from 1:00-3:00pm. Bring the kiddies because every child will receive something from Santa! Cookeville Communications and the Cookeville Department of Leisure Services, Cultural Arts Division, and the Drama Center present a Live Radio Holiday Show at the Drama Center.

Be part of a live studio audience as Cookeville Communications will broadcast a radio variety show originating from the Margery Hargrove Auditorium. The RADIO SHOW will be recorded and rebroadcast over Cookeville Communications stations over the Holiday Season.

Ticket sales will help the Drama Center Backstage production of ESCANABA IN LOVE represent Tennessee at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Birmingham in March, 2009.

The Rotary Christmas Parade in Sparta will start at 4:00 at White County High School and end on eastside of town. The Community Christmas Tree will be lighted at the American Legion Bldg. on Liberty Square when Santa arrives to visit the kids and hand out bags of goodies. Prize money for best floats.
